Wheel Throwing Pottery Course

On this dedicated 4 week wheel throwing pottery course we aim to get you sorted with the basics.

• Wk1 – Introduction to the basics and throwing cylinders
• Wk2 – Throwing practice, introduction to trimming and handles
• Wk3 – Throwing practice and different shapes
• Wk4 – Throwing challenge and completing any work ready for the kiln

Your three favourite pieces then bisque fired and glazed with one of our in house glazes, collection then arranged once out of the kiln. Any extra items you throw and would like to keep can be fired and glazed at a additional charge which you can see here. With the option once you have completed this course to re book again and continue your pottery journey with us at Mitford Pottery were we will make different items and try out different throwing techniques on the pottery wheel.

The cost of the course is £125 with an initial deposit of £50 to confirm your place and then payment of the remainder before your course starts. Gift vouchers are also available here
